Hiiiii, I’m Migi. I’m a photographer + videographer from Washington, D.C. currently living in New York City :)

I decided to create these threadz after spending an afternoon with my friends. Their beauty and freedom moved me greatly. I realized I wanted to sell a bunch clothes but I wanted to photograph my friends in them first! But I didn’t want to just sell my clothes on Depop or Poshmark or even Instagram- I wanted to be more personal, more real. 

You see, this past year, I began to pay more attention to the things I needed to let go of, ironically enough. I realized I was harboring too many clothes among other things- papers, sheet music, old books- things that could easily be given a second life. Photographing my friends in my clothes reminded me how free + happy our clothes can make us feel! I want the happiness and joy that my friends and I felt when we were playing dress up to be passed on to you! 

I’ve been working on being more sustainable. And, though I have a lot more work to do on that front, I feel like this is a good place to start. So won’t you help me? Let’s be sustainable together!
